Screamin’ Good Bakery has developed a unique and proprietary method of gluten-free baking which makes our products difficult to distinguish from, and perhaps even better than, those baked with traditional flours (ie. wheat, barley, rye, oats). In addition, our special techniques allow us to ship them directly to you and, when they arrive, they’ll taste as fresh as the day we made them.

Although they take more time to create, all of our products are gluten-free, low in sugar, high in fiber and diabetic-friendly.

You’ll be able to enjoy gluten-free sweets without compromising flavor. It’s true – almost everyone who tries them says “Wow! These are gluten-free?”

The Story Behind Screamin' Good Bakery

When Rise Myers’ autistic son Marc was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, she began a quest to find great-tasting gluten-free baked goods with the usual “melt in your mouth” feel of typical bakery goods. But everything she found tasted more like cardboard!

The existing gluten-free products available commercially, which use alternative flours like rice or soy, weren’t exactly appealing either!

So, Rise (pronounced Ree-sa) started experimenting with different bases and carefully developed our special recipes that have resulted in great tasting gluten-free baked goods! The results are amazing! Seeing a huge and unmet need in the marketplace, she launched Screamin’ Good Bakery in 2008.

As time passed, Rise developed recipes for brownies, blondies, krinkles and many other baked goodies in her 100% gluten-free bakery located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina (near the City of Greenville).

All of our gourmet baked goods come from the most natural and the freshest ingredients. People with dietary intolerance to gluten and wheat will find our products far surpass other gluten-free baked goods currently available.

How to Order

We currently take all orders by phone:


We have a simple process when it comes to ordering. All items are $29.95 per dozen, except Screamers, which sell by the half dozen (still 12 cookies with filling).

We have a flat shipping of $9.95 per order … no matter how much you order. That’s good for you and for us too!

All orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service via Priority Mail delivery within 2-3 days to most locations (Continental US only). We only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid weekend shipping delays and spoilage.

Our products are made with all natural ingredients and do not contain any preservatives. Although they will stay fresh for 5-6 days, we highly recommend storing them frozen upon arrival. They thaw on your counter to room temperature in 30 minutes. The muffins are also fabulous with 10-20 seconds in the microwave.

We bake in a gluten-free facility that uses tree nuts and peanuts on some products. Our “nut free” products are carrot raisin muffins and all cupcakes.

Cupcakes, Muffins and Screamers are individually wrapped. Brownies, Blondies and Cookies are packaged in pairs.
